Paul has dedicated fifty years to working in the public sector, including in local government. He has served as a B&NES Councillor since 2015, a Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and specialised in further education in the West of England. From this, he is dedicated to using the skills he has developed to defend and nurture the communities he represents. Paul enjoys working with people and wants to ensure villages have a strong voice representing them in B&NES. His dedication and loyalty to his area extends beyond party politics. He will work hard to continue to defend our Green Belt, protect our villages against unwanted development and address the impact of the A37 on our community. To Paul, home is an “essential part of my life” and he enjoys spending time with his wife and two rescue dogs.
